Did you do DU?

Ben Myatt
On the way home from lunch.

Florida living
It’s 5:30am as i write this…12 hours ago, downstairs.

We didn’t do Jungle Cruise…95-minute wait.

But we did do lunch at Skipper Canteen.

Did you do DU?

We stopped by as we drove home, but the doors lock after 5pm on a Saturday.

Here’s to hoping (and i have a great feeling) Thinking Heads becomes my exclusive booking agent.

When does the workday actually begin?

Disney Keynote Speaker
Disney taught me to think this way. Still in early stages of image development – all Adobe Spark watermarks will be removed. i like posting a few to illustrate the early stage of this journey.

When does the workday actually begin?

For many –  including me for most of my life – it begins after arriving at work and having a cup of coffee.

In this scenario, there is no plan, no momentum, and no guiding force for the first couple hours.

But what if the day began the night before so that upon waking, there is a plan, a focus, a driving force and momentum to literally get started – with a plan – before arriving to work?

You can pretend

caring
Note from an interaction i had earlier this week. The source escapes me.

You can pretend to care, but you can not pretend to show up.

Go.

Best home year ever mindset in 2018?

Best home year ever mindset in 2018?

Had a work project yesterday (a Saturday) that required overflowing creativity.

It rarely happens, but i wasn’t feeling abundantly creative, yet i had enough creativity to muster up an alternative.

Did an all-afternoon project clearing older electronics from various storage space in my office.

Cathartic.

And somewhat painful to let go of what used to be amazing technology.

Work hard to buy the best things you can afford

Disney Institute speakers
Google search for, you guessed it, “Disney Institute”.

Working hard to buy the best things you can afford is the American way.

Until it’s not.

And trust me, it’s not.

Learn how to know when enough is enough.

If you can afford an $18k car or a $36k car, lean strongly on the $18k car.

As early as possible, embrace “reduce, reuse, recycle”, and, “live within your means”.
