My goal in life is to become…

Our Dog is our Son.   And, my goal in life is to become the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Think about it this way too:

Dogs are our link to paradise.  They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent.   To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring – it was Peace.”   — Milan Kundera

May the Peace that surpasses all understanding be with you today.   Life is hard.  Trust me, I know.  You know it too.  It’s hard for everyone in their own way.  All of us have the weight of the world on our shoulders.  And if we don’t currently, we either did or will soon.

If you only had…..

If you only had ten years left to live, would you live your life differently?

Why?

Why not?

Maybe you never even thought about this before.  That’s OK too.

I think about it all the time.   And it inspires me to live more in the moment than I ever have before.  Not perfectly in the moment, but way better than before.

Will today be the best day of your life?

It depends.

On what?

Many things probably.

I’m guessing if it’s gonna be my best day, I’ll have to really be “in the moment” and focus repeatedly on the multitude of blessings that are mostly invisible to the naked eye.

You up for the challenge?   If not you, who?  If not today, when?   Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Five blogs?

Five blogs.   Yes.   Five.

Why five?

That’s where fate has led me.

Crazy?   Maybe.   Maybe not.   Where has fate led you?

This is all so new.   Seriously.   The blogging has only been happening consistently since February 2009.

It’s exciting most of the time.  Scary some of the time.  Taxing some of the time.   And always, all of the time, a privilege.

Here’s a post from yesterday at jeff noel.org – it lists all five links, if you’re inclined to look.

Make today a day to “Do Something Great”, because if you don’t, who will?  Carpe diem,  jeff noel
