Wild animals don’t need much internal motivation to thrive. Each day’s meal, and the watchful eye for predators, leads to another day of the same. The payoff? Mating season and the chance to reproduce – the common purpose of every living thing.

But humans are a different animal. We think tomorrow is guaranteed. We get satisfied, then complacent, and finally decline. The shift from one to the other is slow, yet fast, quiet yet obnoxious. Uncertain yet guaranteed.

Why?

Because when we realize that tomorrow is not guaranteed, perhaps we will put more focus on today.

Looks good on paper, but is incredibly elusive.  The whole “live in the moment” thing is very challenging to do.

Have you ever tried it?  I mean, day after day, after day.  Month after month, after month….

What’s The Point?

Five blogs daily.  Every single day.  Seven days a week.  Week after week. Month after month.

Maybe there’s something wrong with me.  Maybe there’s not.

“Aren’t you cutting into your Family time”? Maybe.

Maybe not.  When you’re highly motivated, creative and courageous, what can stop you from chasing your dreams.

Wanna know a little known fact?  After Q1, realized that I wasn’t doing what was promised – write for our son.

Told my son, “You want to be a good reader, read a lot.  Want to be a good runner, run a lot.  Want to be a good writer, write a lot”. This led to a 100 day challenge….
