Completely Different?

Did you post on Facebook that you voted?

Hey look at me, i sent a thank you package to someone. Aren’t i great? See how weird this is? i don’t need to share this because people know i consistently do this stuff.

Did you post on Facebook that you voted?

All of those “I voted” photos strike me as weird.

What is the point?

In America, the adult expectation is that you vote. Why would anyone have to state the obvious?

Think about it.

No smart, free person would not vote.

So now is it an expectation that you post “I voted” pics?

And what if you don’t post a photo?

(gasp, he didn’t vote, is that our new worry?)

This is how herd-mentality starts.

.think .differently

Ps. My belief is this: if your reputation for personal responsibility is solid, everyone will know you voted – because they’d never believe you didn’t vote.

Day To Day

Remember how you didn’t vote?

Vote by mail ballot, completed and signed yesterday, October 27, 2018.
vote by mail ballot
Will drop this in the Post Office mailbox on the way to Church this morning. Election is in nine days.

Remember how you didn’t vote?

It couldn’t have been any easier.

Yet you didn’t vote.

Rationalizing that there are enough smart, energetic people to cover for your apathetic effort.

You probably don’t get an annual physical either.

Yet on Facebook, you pick up your microphone and spew righteous rhetoric about how things need to change.

i forgive you because we all need and deserve forgiveness. The first and biggest victory is changing into a healthier person – mind, body, spirit, work, home.

Our change shows others what’s possible.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

Voted yesterday.

First swim of the 2016 season on March 15.

Another busy day, like all the others.

And so it goes.

Enjoyed the opportunity to ride a bicycle to cast a vote in yesterday’s 2016 Florida primary.

Also enjoyed a 15-minute after-school swim.
