Skip Knew What He Was Doing

Visionary Tool?
Visionary Tool?

After all, Skip is a Marine.  And, he’s been a friend, for like 30 years. We roomed together for a year while in college.

If you read yesterday’s comment, Skip accomplished his “mission”. I knew he was baiting me, but couldn’t resist his bait.

And if you read my reply to his comment, you would have discovered that what I’ve shared so far is literally just the tip of the iceberg. The vision for how these five blogs can make a significant impact on humanity will blow your mind.

It will be revealed as time passes. While the audience is our son (9), everyone who has a desire to do good and decent work is invited. Most likely, if you visit here regularly, you also have a desire to be a better person, and you also dream crazy impossible dreams.

The Difference?

What's The Difference?
What's The Difference?

The difference between those that make the list and those that don’t, whether they be people, organizations, religions, cultures, ideas, patents, and so on, is this:

Here’s what it takes. And I’m well aware there will be people who disagree with this, and people who embrace it.

And if you don’t have it, you will always be following people who do. Here’s the difference:

Passion!

That’s it.

Passion.  The secret ingredient.  The difference.

Are You Getting This?

The Difference?
The Difference?

Many great thinkers, game changers some call them, have had to deal with ridicule and doubt most of their lives.

There comes a point, however, when something clicks, something comes together and others finally embrace their crazy notions:

There is one significant difference between the people who make the list and those that don’t.

Reach Relevance Impact

Reach.  Relevance.  Impact.

Just before the entire Columbia, South Carolina airport power went out, I was filming a one-take-You Tube video of another airport hallway billboard sign.

Had the power not gone off, I would have finished the one-take-You Tube video with, “What I am trying to do is expand my reach, relevance and impact.”

I mean, who doesn’t want to do that?

Or maybe, it’s just crazy talk, or inappropriate, to think that one person might start something that could help make the world a better place.
