The organizational trifecta isn’t worth it

Lots going on in people’s lives.

Most of us are overwhelmed with all the demands and unexpected things that pop up when we least expect.

Has there ever been a more compelling reason to do whatever it takes to get really organized – with our stuff, our priorities, and our time?

Slow and steady wins the race.

The little things, the small steps, these take time and hardly seem like progress.

Time enough to get a haircut and hand pick – plus personally deliver – flowers to Cheryl’s office in Downtown Walt Disney World.

There was also time for some gardening too – a passion that has taken a back seat to parenting for nearly 15 years.

Since retiring from Disney, my new boss has been amazing.

The meeting ran twice as long as expected

This place is so close to Lakeside Village.

 

The meeting (with the Disney intern) ran twice as long as expected. The coolest thing was a schedule that allowed it to happen with zero pressure to be somewhere else. A contributing factor was the proximity to HQ (home).

My French Cafe, in Lakeside Village, is a quaint gathering spot for locals, right behind Disney’s north Cast entrance.

Have been a local since the land was an Orange Grove. The insight is that in not giving up, the journey (progress, growth) becomes the reward – in each of life’s five big choices.
