Mall at Millenia Christmas decorations. Just a random moment walking down the staircase.

Apple Store iPhone cases
Apple Store iPhone cases. None of the colors inspired me to get a second case. Already have the middle one (Olive).

Wifi outlet
Bought one at the Apple Store. Control it from an iPhone.

Saturday morning errands.

Spend Health Care Flex Spending money before year end – pick out eye-glasses frame.

Visit Apple Store, just because we were in the building.

Beats fighting it

iPhone 6s new features
Picking up my pre-ordered iPhone 6s today.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6+s are available today.

Preordered one of each 13 days ago (the first day you could).

And there will come a day when this phone (the most advanced ever) will become antiquated.

Pretty cool how fast things change isn’t it?

PS. Whether we think the fast pace is cool or not isn’t going to change the pace. Best to embrace it, eh? Beats the heck out of fighting it.

In five years will this seem archaic?

Apple Watch shipping box
The Apple Watch arrived yesterday afternoon. Last night the box still wasn’t opened.

In five years will the first generation Apple Watch seem archaic? When i open the box later today, it will feel like a high tech game-changing device.

It’s pretty cool to treat it as a tool to use rather than some status symbol.

Life is a double-edged sword

Parenting challenges and technology

(photo: Last night unpacking a UPS delivery box filled with tools for organizing life. This morning struggling to balance technology along with the unknown, invisible world of easy access, convenience, and knowledge. Teens have access to everything the world has to offer in the digital Universe.)

Praying that all teens will find the right balance between sexual desire and understanding that there are consequences to letting unbridled passion run wild.

Praying parents and caregivers use patience, wisdom, kindness, and courage to help work through this season in life.
