Yesterday. Keep learning. Keep pushing. Never settle. Never used an iPad as my main frame. Never used an Apple Pencil either. Retiring both 2015 MacBook 12″ “main frames” in the spirit of portability and proactive change.
When you plan something and then do it, your experience will fall into three ratings:
Goes exactly as planned (rare)
Goes worse than planned
Goes better than planned
Last night’s Disney keynote speech was well worth it for Chapin to hear.
The format changed (adding a second speaker) before we attended (and after tickets were purchased) and the format changed a second time (Q & A instead of presentation) when we arrived.
The moderated Q&A was different and interesting.
It was not what i hyped to Chapin.
We had a decent debrief on the 40-minute drive home.
Bottom line, 100% worth our time, money, and effort.

Planning a year in advance. You come back from an eight-day writer’s retreat and you immediately start planning for next year’s retreat.
Why?
Because popular venues fill up early. To get your first choice accommodations you need to do it sooner rather than later.
In text books it’s called planning ahead.
Common sense, not common practice.
