When Your Life Changes

Happy 1st New Day 2020

Started having this issue in Glacier four months ago, since working 100% on an iPhone. As a known issue, it is just a matter of time until it is resolved.

i was fascinated by the entire 15-minute riff on the human habits of silence and hesitation.

Perfect timing?

5…4…3…2…1…

The five second rule is explained here.

Is your head clear today?

Are you chomping at the bit to launch a renewed sense of energy, passion, and commitment?

Jokers Are Wild

The odds of failing vs the odds of succeeding

Gym
It was cold yesterday as i began the 13-mile bike ride to the gym. But it was the heavy rain that caused my retreat and ultimately i drove a car. It would have been much easier to cancel yesterday’s workout. It’s 30 degrees as i type this january 4, 2018.

The odds of people sticking to their New Year resolution is roughly 1 in 10.

The odds of someone starting a business and making it sustainable is less than 1 in 10.

Here’s what this reveals:

  1. Accept that it’s going to be challenging and the odds of failure are astronomical.
  2. The people who “make it” are rewarded, over time, with enough lucky breaks to tip the scale.
  3. Longevity and desire is the recipe for lucky breaks.
  4. Remember that things turn out better or worse than you dream.
  5. When it’s worse, it’s only temporary.
  6. Quitting never leads to lucky breaks.

Sorry, wish it was more complicated than that.

Go.

One Question A Day?

Have we been organized enough in 2015?

Roadside vegetation
Walking to hotel after last week’s interview. Lower left a hidden patch of yellow.

Roadside wildflowers
Close up, they cannot hide.

Have we been organized enough in 2015?

As i write this on a Sunday morning, September 20, i’m reflecting on the day this will go live – just three days before we begin 2016.

And 100 days before the traditional opportunity to make a New Year’s resolution, the ability to reflect without pressure is fun, exciting, and wonderful.

Not Everyone Is Willing To Devote Themselves To Changing The Course Of Their Life

Baby Boomers jeff noel and his cousin Michael

One thing most Baby Boomers are acutely aware of is personal responsibility. No one is more in charge of us than us. You are the CEO of You, Inc. And yet, most Boomers feel lost, not knowing where or how to begin, to make positive life changes – to reverse decades of bad health habits. Your fellow Boomer, and prolific blogger, jeff noel, has been in this very same deep, dark place. It’s scary. But it ain’t permanent.

Are You?

What Do You Really Love To Do?

What do you really love to do? Do you get paid for it? If yes, is it a fair compensation? If it’s not, what are you doing about it?

Has the new year helped you ignite and inspire your dormant dreams, your highest aspirations?

If not, when? Have to confess, personally, the fire is building again. The clock is ticking. The devil tricked me a little, thinking I was close to done.

WRONG!!
