Everybody at the Mall of Millenia wants to be cool. Okay, well, we can’t say everyone for sure. But for sure, it sure looked like it yesterday. Yeah, went back to the Apple Store for something.

Sat in the same place as the night before.

Will be ordering a bunch of books later today.

Five years ago I predicted it would take five years.

Are things different for you today compared to four years ago?

Don’t die with a book in you

Are things different for you today compared to four years ago?

A question like this begs another question like what criteria are we judging against?

And there is our answer. Do we have criteria for self improvement?

Years ago I stopped talking about the first Mid Life Celebration book being launched because it was taking forever and the ‘someday soon’ talk had overstayed it’s welcome.

When we think of the promises we make to others and to ourselves, do we ever consider our list’s length?

We’re probably most successful if it’s a short list. Think about it.

Anyone have a promise to themselves that’s less than five years old?

For 40 months now you’ve had the opportunity to read five daily, differently-themed blogs about Life’s Big Choices.

The photos above are from today’s Track Meet.

My Sister's Wedding Day
My Sister's Wedding Day

We make promises to ourselves all the time. Bad choice on our part.

Unless we undersell and over-deliver.

It started as a simple (and humble) 100-day challenge on April Fool’s day 2009. To quit wishing and start doing.

Had I not intentionally slowed down on 9.11, yesterday would have been the milestone day. Instead, because of organization and thoughtful consideration to the story, the 3,000 blog post will happen on a more memorable and special day.
