Maybe our lists are unrealistic

Sometimes we feel like a elephant’s rear

 

Got a lot done yesterday. Not as much as on the list, but maybe the list was unrealistic.

And maybe that’s the catch, we put too much on our lists.

What if there were only three things:

1. Order books
2. Gym
3. Work

Those are three massively important tasks.

Sampling of today’s to do list:

  • start day on knees in prayer (done)
  • make coffee and write five blogs (almost done)
  • ultra-slow jog “five mailboxes”
  • Breakfast with Family
  • yard work
  • swim
  • pack a little for big vacation trip
  • go out to lunch somewhere near or inside Disney World

Did I mention this Summer’s vacation is not to Sanibel Island?

How many things should inspire us Baby Boomers? A handful? A dozen? Several dozen? One hundred? One thousand? A million?

For example, how about Advent, Christmas, a roof over our heads, the Internet, a new year, another day, food on the table, a hand to hold.
