Vault of successes

To reach this point, solo, was exhilarating because it required of me to remove/slay reasonable doubts. Doubts that in hindsight were completely irrelevant.

Vault of successes.

We all have one.

How often do we open it up and remind ourselves of the overwhelming number of successes we’ve had in our life?

Whenever, or if, doubt creeps in your life for any reason, listen to it, discern any important messages, then go open your vault of successes and make doubt a distant memory.

Happy 28th HQ anniversary

Yep.

Bought our lot in 1990, moved into our present home on January 25, 1992. Happy 28th.

Revisiting yesterday’s leadership train of thought about my top values.

Here’s a list i began teaching our son in 2004-ish. This list began in 2002 with one value, honesty. Numbers two, three, and four were added when sleepovers became a thing in 2005-ish. Initiative added a couple years later. Fun added somewhere 2016-ish.

  1. Honesty
  2. Behave admirably
  3. Personal responsibility
  4. Self-control
  5. Initiative
  6. Fun
  7. (Bonus) Contribution (June 2019)

The power of not selling

Wide angle shot from last night.
Closeup. The email sender’s name is more important than the subject line. The preheader text is also more important than the subject line.

Matthew Montoya is an email list expert. He has a decade of experience teaching (14k total) businesses globally.

What is mystifying to those of us not on the inside of email list creation, management and improvement, comes across effortlessly with his broad and deep insider experience.

Everything he shared made perfect sense.

Guessing that his message resonated more and had greater credibility because he didn’t try to sell us anything.

Duly noted.
