Walter Elias Disney signed personal check

Walt Disney signed check
At American Adventure merchandise shop yesterday.

As real as it gets, even though it’s an artifact.

Over the decades, Walt’s signature has been embellished from the real thing, but that’s what a marketing and/or public relations department does – tells the story in a more visually appealing way.

Trademark short and pithy posts, where art thou?

Pink high heels at Disney Park
Are the pink shoes on the right overkill for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park?

The trademark short and pithy posts sometimes seem anything but since retiring from Disney five months ago. The posts aren’t long and drawn out, but they are not two to four sentences either.

Today marks the beginning of the seventh year.

Hard to believe what began on April Fools Day 2009 as a 100-day, self imposed, kick-your-butt writer’s bootcamp has blossomed into something remarkably different.

Honestly didn’t think it would last 100 days.

Maybe it was the sheer magnitude of the impossibility that allowed writing five daily, differently-themed blogs to succeed.

If your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reach high enough.

The inspiration for writing is not so little any more

To all of you who read Mid Life Celebration’s blogs, thank you.

You may or may not know the five-a-day blogging began in 2009 as a creative way to leave a trail for our son (now 12).

He’ll be 13 in three weeks – a teenager.

How’d that happen? 🙂

Anyway, after four+ years and 8k+ posts, I’m feeling (have been for a year) something coming on. Unable to clearly articulate it yet.

Meanwhile, just know that your presence is and has always been, a blessing.

Thank you.
