Are You “On Purpose”?

The reason I write five blogs (every single day) is because I believe life offers us four big choices.

So, there’s a blog for each of life’s big choices, plus this one.

This blog serves as an Internet storefront, a warehouse, a gathering spot, headquarters, corporate, etc.

Yesterday, I was asked if I’m spread too thin.  Heck yes.  Most people who are employed are spread incredibly thin.

I’m thankful for the thinness.  Hope it doesn’t last forever though. There are too many people who need jobs.

And when you are writing for your young son to discern life’s four big choices, the writing comes pretty easy.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

As Promised…

The three things I did Thursday that scared me:

  1. Asked someone to help me write my first book
  2. Made a business proposal to an unlikely candidate
  3. Made a second business proposal to a likely candidate

Guess what?  It feels great!

Even if I fail, I succeed.

If you don’t understand this concept, you may want to invest in figuring it out.

It’s one of the most powerful and liberating truths life has to offer you.

Simply put:

“Nothing ventured. Nothing gained”.

If not today, when?  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Stuck?

Stuck?  Nope.

Do what you fear, and the death of that fear is certain.  Like writing five blogs per day.  Every day.  Period.

The way to move forward in anything is action.  Like in this simple jeff noel midlife You Tube video:

Every single day, I do at least one thing that scares me. Some days it’s more than one. Some days it’s a small thing. Other days, huge.

Yesterday was devoted to gluttony.  Three things that challenged my courage.  Guess what I got for being courageous?

I’ll tell you tomorrow.  Do something today that you’ve been putting off.  Did you not watch my video about the two types of goals?

Don’t live with regret.  It stinks.  Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

jeff noel Recommends Adventures With Ben

jeff noel Recommends Adventures With Ben. If you love travel and adventure.

My good friend, Ben Reed, has a travel website chock full of great travel and adventure tips, all from his personal experience around our globe.

While many people I know have acumen there are only a few I know who demonstrate, in my opinion, a higher level of passion for certain things.

Ben has passion for travel and adventure, and for sharing his travel knowledge.

While many people love to travel, or love to think about travel and adventure, Ben just simply goes out and does it.

Follow him on Twitter if you’d like.

Ben’s personal travel tips recently helped my own visits to Chicago and Finland last month.

He’s very, very good at what he does and he inspires me with his passion to experience all life has to offer.  Who doesn’t want that? Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Great Conversation?

What makes a conversation great?  Obviously, it depends.

Yesterday, had a great conversation with a very special and  very gifted person.  A person who is both mentor and mentee.  A mutual admiration and respect, so to speak.

In asking him if I am:

  • Too pushy
  • Perfectly pushy
  • Not pushy enough

He said, “Not pushy enough”.  Hmmmm……

This website is what I refer to as “the warehouse”.  A sort of Internet storefront.  It does not have one particular theme or focus like the other four:

  1. MIND:     www.MidLifeCelebration.com
  2. BODY:     www.Lane8.org
  3. SPIRIT:    www.jeffnoel.org
  4. MONEY:  www.junglejeff.net

Five per day.  Every day.  Excessive?  No one will label me lazy, that’s for sure.

Would it be considered too pushy or just right, if I said anyone who doesn’t have a blog is lazy? You have a cell phone, a computer and an Internet connection, right? 🙂
