Happy Ground Hog Day 2016.

Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton won last night’s Iowa caucus.

But today, in reality, is (now) May 12.

What happened 100 days ago (when i wrote this) is long forgotten.

What will happen 100 days from now is not on most people’s radars.

  1. The past
  2. The present
  3. The future

Three places to organize our things, our ideas, our experiences, our hopes, our dreams, our successes and our failures.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

This website is about our home health. To leave this site to read today’s post on my mental attitude website, click here.

Being organized for the future starts when?

Disney World has two water bridges. This is the original by Magic Kingdom. The other is at Epcot.

Today is the 2015 Annual Walt Disney World Half Marathon. No doubt it will travel under Disney’s northern water bridge (above). A once a year or once-in-a-lifetime event for some.

One aspect of being decently organized is doing things today that won’t pay off until 10, 20,or even 30+ years later.

Like being able to go under Disney’s iconic Magic Kingdom water bridge every day if you want to.

Not doing it is actually doing it

(photo: Sand and snow can look the same, yet are drastically different. When you can touch it, taste, it, smell it… everything changes.)

The biggest reason we struggle with getting and staying decently organized is that we cannot see ourselves living a different way.

Well, we can see it, but not clearly enough that we can touch it, taste it, smell it, hear it.

Not mapping out our future state is actually mapping out our future state.

Think about it.

Will there be enough confidence in the future?

Will there be enough confidence in the future?

One, a husband, has possessed this for a long time. Since April Fool’s Day this year.

The other, the wife, knows, but would like reassurance.

No harm, no foul.

One can taste it.

The other isn’t even sure what it looks like.

Every morning jeff writes five different, short, and pithy posts about the challenging and wonderful balance between:

mind • body • spirit • work • home

All five websites are seamlessly connected by a convenient and easy to click link to go to the next topic.
