In the past five years (which is reasonable), what have we done to move forward?

Sometimes I’ve felt that way about the first book

In the past five years (which is a decent, reasonable time frame), what have we done to move forward?

The first book should be done by the time this Mid Life Celebration post goes live.

Can we sign a contract and 100 days later show up for sale on Amazon as well as Barnes and Noble?

I admit it, I’m afraid

No one is immune from fear (Photo Businessweek: young Steve Jobs)

Are you afraid?

Yes, I’m afraid!

There, I said it.

Or maybe I’m just really, really busy.

When it comes to not doing things we could (or should) be doing and aren’t, does it matter if it’s fear, or busy-ness?

No.

Does it matter if we don’t think we’re capable?

(Above) One is easy. The other two take a lifetime of commitment.

Does it matter if we don’t think we’re capable?

Yes it matters.

The insidious thing our stuff does to us until its too late.

Distracts us.

Fear Stinks Like A

An Awesome Hometown
An Awesome Hometown

I was born and raised in a small town. Taught to fear Jesus in that same small town. A Paper Mill town, 25 miles east of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. There was no vision of social media when I was growing up.

But there is now. Has been. For a long time. And many people continue to fear it.

Fear stinks like a Paper Mill, and after awhile, you don’t smell it anymore, even though the smell is still there.

You may think, because people can no longer smell your fear of social media, that it’s gone.

Sure.
