Let it ride or be intentional?

Let it ride or be intentional? You only retire once, so our experience is zero. Sure, we attend a few retirement parties, but we never paid attention to how they get planned and executed. Who determines the attendees, the menu, the venue, the vibe?

Just leave it all alone, or get involved?

Also personally invited the Cast Member here.

Note: Richard and Claudine were on the original invite list, but challenging to reach via traditional measures. Face-to-face got it done.

To teach Disney is to learn it twice

To push humility aside, as the Marketing Director for Mid Life Celebration, LLC, it is helpful to note that becoming a Disney expert happens under two criteria:

  1. You read and study the Disney way for years upon years.
  2. You work, live, breath, sleep Disney for 30+ years, including teaching the Disney Way to CEO’s and Companies around the globe.

There is no substitute for being on the inside, from Michael Eisner to Bob Iger, to being a Magic Kingdom Custodial Manager, or a Jungle Cruise Skipper.

One Man’s Dream, or is it two men dream?

Funny how plans can change on a dime and become unexpectedly extraordinary.

We only began yesterday with one objective. Let’s go to Epcot for lunch at our favorite place, Japan.

It would also be a good test to see if the lifetime Disney pass kicks in right away.

The lifetime Disney pass worked fine, but the Guest pass did not.

Why? A glitch in the system?

No. During Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, Saturday’s are blocked out for Cast Member Guest passes.

So it was off to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park for lunch.

Afterwards it was home for a two-hour nap.

And when we got hungry for dinner, guess what happened?

The idea of doing all four parks seemed easily doable.

And it was.

Four days until the big change

Four days until the big change.

The world needs a decent number (3% would be the catalyst) of Baby Boomers to step up and lead some really nice, positive change.

From helping mend an important relationship before it’s too late to assisting with rising money to find a cure for something without a cure yet.

To something in between.

To challenge the herd to be part of the movement.

Mid Life Celebration.
