Omar Nour went first. He’s Egypt’s first professional triathlete.

Omar is a recent AUK grad and delivered a powerful speech about creativity and failure.
Inspiring quote
Don’t recall who used this, but i think it’s exactly in line with my speaking vision.

Ali is Dr Amir Zeid’s (event co-organizer) 12-year old son. We hit it off. He carries himself in an adult crowd better than most adults.

Meeting planners sometimes want a “Disney Keynote Speaker”.

So i Googled “Disney Keynote Speaker” from the Kuwait Hotel lobby business center.

Their search engine is Bing. Who uses Bing anymore?

Anyway, top four spots. Plus two more lower down.

If Disney Ran Your Life podcast update

If Disney Ran Your Life podcast with jeff noel
If Disney Ran Your Life is my new Podcast coming in 2019.

If Disney Ran Your Life podcast update.

Moments ago i listened to Episode 14 from Season One. It’s the final episode of what we’ve called “Cast Previews”.

After listening to the first two episodes, i knew immeadiately that we would delay any promotion of it.

Why?

i needed practice.

These 14 episodes are nick-named “The Basement Tapes” because i feel like Jody Maberry (the Host) and i are in our parent’s basement, trying to start a band, finding our sound, having fun, and getting enough confidence to start playing “free gigs”.

PS. Last week the first two episodes of Season Two (called Soft Opening) came back from the editor. Exciting. We recorded eight episodes in a marathon recording day at Walt Disney World.

Crazy Disney power

Crazy Disney power.

Jody Maberry, the “Disney Podcaster”, was there too.

All three of Jody’s Disney podcast clients were there last night.

We would have had another 35 Disney years there but Cheryl needed (and wanted) to readjust after being away for four days….and the first day in eight weeks, she could start using our bedroom/bathroom again.

Jeff, second from left, joined us for dinner at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. He’s in town for Lee Cockerell’s Mastermind day tomorrow, which Jody Maberry (second from right) is hosting tomorrow.

We spent 12 hours at Walt Disney World and recorded as many episodes as we could.

Learned a ton.

Can’t wait to see what other crazy ideas this experience will yield in the future.

In an hour, we (family) head up north to spend the weekend at our son’s future college.

Finally, the remodeling crew that has been here seven weeks will finish tomorrow (a Saturday) and it will be an adjustment to not have them be part of our lives. They’ve been amazing.

Crown of the Continent

Djuan is my neighbor. Michael is his (and now my) Australian friend.
Sanibel sunset
Is this a sunrise or a sunset? My Dad never visited Sanibel Island either. He would have enjoyed it. April 10 is the day he died.

Crown of the Continent or Sanibel Island?

Right now it’s a no-brainer. Given the choice to do only one, Glacier easily wins.

Why?

This Summer’s Sanibel Island trip will be our 31 year. Our Glacier trip will be year 11 or 12. It will be our Son’s seventh. He’s been to Sanibel 19 years.

By the time this post is published, i could be biking and hiking through the Crown of the Continent.

i will also just have returned from a keynote speech in Madrid.

Guessing by June 10 the official release of If Disney Ran Your Life podcast will have launched.
