So slow

So slow.

Life.

Right now, as we are in a two-week Orange County mandatory self-quarantine.

Thankful for a big yard and a small business, and a childlike heart.

Today is the official first day…13 more to go before we determine what happens next.

Why are we globally unprepared?

Apple Store Mall at Millenia
Inside Apple Store Mall at Millenia on March 18, the last day the store was open (but only for in-store pickups). Imagine worst case scenario, and work forward from there.

Why are we globally unprepared?

Because, quite simply, it’s inconvenient.

We can’t keep up with our own life and what we need to change to transform ourself.

How is there any chance we could look past all of that and focus on what the entire world needs?

Thank God for grocery stores

Monsters Inc characters
Pretty scary, right?

Thank God for grocery store employees.

And the supply chains that keep them stocked.

Life will get ugly quickly if food becomes rationed, or worse.

Under pressure?

Under pressure?

How much is enough is the theme running through my head this year.

Since meeting with Fidelity because both our 401k accounts are there, there’s an awareness now that we have enough to live comfortably without working.

Why did i venture to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort Convention Center yesterday?

How do you and when should you turn down an opportunity to be with Lee, Dan and Valerie Cockerell, Jody Maberry, as well as to meet Jamie and JJ Eubanks from Magical Vacation Planners?

When?

Apparently not yesterday.

There is a hard sell for many Americans (me included) that we need to radically change our social behavior before we see the overwhelmingly tangible numbers.

When you are organized

Mt Reynolds. An angle that is less viewed. A side of Mt Reynolds that i stood at from the hike 99.99% never take.

When you are organized you rarely need to panic.

In fact, you may delight in your freedom from panic.

To be clear, panic’s magnetic force will tempt you, but you will take a deep breath and realize you are in a good place.

Being highly organized at home is great for everyday living. And it is exceptional for “life’s unexpected bad weather”.

If Disney Ran Your Life, you are well prepared for everything, even things that may never happen, or things that only happen every 10-20 years.
