Five words

The meaning of life is right over there.

Five words, possibly book titles, summarize life’s simple categories.

Personal vibrancy:

Think, move, feel, contribute, dwell.

Organizational vibrancy:

Lead, engage, serve, connect, improve.

(csn, pls txt me when you get this far. thx)

Black Friday 2019

Yesterday, officially Thanksgiving Day, at Walmart on the way home from Walt Disney World.
Walmart’s Garden Center is packed it’s bikes and TVs.

Black Friday 2019.

Today.

Means nothing to me.

Why?

Fundamentally, do not spend in order to save. Used to, for decades. Not any more.

Foundationally, when you eliminate unnecessary expenses, what is necessary becomes something you invest in whether or not it’s on sale.

Overcome or embrace boredom?

What is our go to choice? Day after day. Week after week. Year after year.

Overcome or embrace boredom?

Both.

It is a trick question.

Boredom is tricky.

Spend your life being decently organized or get buried by your proverbial to-do-list and in-box.

It may be uber-underrated

Everyone calls Glen, “Hop”. Tammy and Hop live here and are gracious hosts. i spent two nights in the office above the front door.

Being organized may be uber-underrated.

Why?

Because many of us have never tasted being decently organized as an adult.

So, focusing on improving is never motivating because we ask, “What’s the point?”

Being in control.

That’s the point.

You’re either in control or you’re not.

Given a choice, the choice is obvious – be decently organized.

You are what you eat

You are what you eat.

In the Twitter screen shot above (focused on mind, body, spirit), i’m adding that your work skills adapt to how you approach your art day after day. And, your home skills adapt to how you reduce, reuse, recycle and organize your stuff and processes.
