Jeff,
You are right – when things like death are hard to explain or understand, it can lead to a lot of confusion, sadness, and sometimes even anger. But like I had to remind my sons, God never said all things would be good, but that all things work together for His greater good. Therein lies the path that leads out of confusion and sadness to hope. It refocuses our “worldview perspective glasses” so we can see the silver linings among the sometimes much larger dark clouds. It has to – otherwise, we are without hope.
Bob
Bob, brilliant summary. Life without Hope would be a dark cloud indeed. Thank God for Hope.
