Being able to do what you want to do is dangerous

Recently, on a photo shoot excursion.

Find a million ways to stay motivated.

You don’t have to be organized when you are an adult. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want.

This is dangerous.

Why?

Because doing what you want is often guided by avoidance, procrastination, and disorganization.

The consequences of disorganization multiple at a similar rate to the consequences of being decently organized.

In one, you improve. In the other, you drown.

The most powerful form of lasting motivation is self-motivation. One of your goals as a leader should be to provide an environment that fosters and rewards self-motivation.
