Who Do You Call If Your Pet Is Sick? (Veterinarian)

Yesterday we surprised our friends at Sand Lake Animal Clinic with a couple pizzas & drinks. We had to be sure they knew we appreciated what they did the day before.

It took five people to hold Cooper down to clean his ears. Cooper? Our sweet one-year old Lab puppy? Yep. Thank you Dan, Dr. Spurgeon and team.

HA HA! I know what you mean. Effie, our Persian cat, weighed in at just over 6 pounds. I got sick of her antics while trying to groom her, so I took her in for a shave. The vet staff kind of laughed when I told them about the Bactine and Band Aids and the running around the house and retrieving her from under the beds. Got a call an hour later saying they would have to anesthetize her if they were to proceed. She came home with a ridiculous and highly entertaining “lion cut”, and had a special red warning star on her patient folder till the day she died.
