Find it challenging to get motivated?
Or maybe getting motivated isn’t the challenge for you, is it the staying motivated part that challenges you?
And then there are always people who can get and stay motivated, but not for the long haul. And by the way, the long way is the shortcut.
You must be able to kick your own butt.
If you don’t have the guts, passion, determination, or any other ingredient you need, to kick your own butt, your big dreams will remain elusive.
These five daily blogs are the foundation of a community, of a movement. And as this “community” grows, we will all find creative ways to increasingly be here for each other. You good with that?
Who are you?
Where am I?
How did I get here?
Oh…thanks for all the fish…
And we fed all 5,000 with crumbs to spare, eh?
I’m good with that. Even though the miles keep us apart, there is still a sense of community. . . one I am happy to be a part of.
Amen. Everything takes longer than we expect. When you account for that, these blogs aren’t even walking yet. The visions that dance through my head are overwhelming – God has tapped on my shoulder and said he wants my help.
Who am I to turn him down?
David, he’s tapped every single one of us (humans) on the shoulder. It’s just that now, I finally understand where the tap is coming from.
As my creator, I have no authority to say no thanks to God when tapped on the shoulder. Moses did. Jonah did. Peter did. But with God behind them, look what He did through them!
Yes, and, I personally find that a busy schedule can distract me from listening. Not that my intentions are bad, but my behaviors may tell a completely different story. Sound familiar?
Way too familiar, especially when it is not on my time schedule.
Maybe focus and discipline is the antidote.
