You’ll Start To See A Change

Can You See It? (You Will)
Can You See It? (You Will)

Do you consciously try to improve a little bit every day? Personally? Professionally?

Really not trying to annoy you, but I’ve spent 27 years of my life working for an organization that epitomizes excellence and continuous improvement, and epitomizes being the best – not one of the best, but THE best.

It was only a matter of time before the pace picked up.

That time has arrived.

Thanks to a ticking clock. Thanks to the iPad.

I wish I could tell you that I’ll wait for you, you know, until your ready to start living. But that’s now impossible.

There are 80 million blogs out there. There are 180,000 books written every year. A gazillion websites.

How does one capture the attention and interest of like-minded people? ┬áIf you’re a business owner, a leader, a manager – how do you do it? The same way as everyone else?

It can’t be business as usual. Otherwise we would have never made it past the Edsel or the Commodore 64.

“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow and tomorrow’s just a dream away.”

David, it’s an unusual paradox. We need change more than ever. Now is the best time to ride the “safe” wave.

Safe slows down change.

Safe makes it more likely people will like you.

Being liked makes us less likely to take the needed risks.

And we all need to figure this out.

My approach to it all is like that of an Olympic hopeful.
