Been having these thoughts that the five daily, differently-themed blogs I write about work life balance are not intended to draw a following, although there were early dreams of going viral.

The harsh reality is that everyone wants more, better, happier, but extraordinarily few are willing to dedicate their lives and fight like hell to get there.

Not sad at all (not anymore anyway) that few people get this.

The reality though, is that from the very beginning, I knew only 3% (+-) of Baby Boomers would step up.

When we first talked in 2010, correct me if I am miss remembering, you were hoping for 3% of the male baby boomer population to become inspired and make a difference. And what a difference it would be. Now three plus years later, do you have any sense of the demographics?

Patty, there is a sense, yes.

One of the most exciting things about a journey this audacious is that the unexpected and unknown are part of the territory.

The story of Walt Disney’s journey, Steve Jobs, Mother Teresa, and on and on.

When things don’t work out the way they were originally conceived, solace is granted because of the brave men and women who have gone before.

Make sense?

After five years, finally feel like the starting line is in sight.

Make no small plans.

Right?
