Cheryl, a Disney Executive, has a ridiculous skill set that few people at Disney can match. 

That she could one day work with me is an insane opportunity. 

Son, you know i’m working on recruiting her and have been for years. 

One or two incredibly strategic partnerships can catapult a small business. 

You have to be decently organized to orchestrate this. 

There is also no guarantee my recruiting efforts will work.

Son, slow and steady wins the race.

Expect the unexpected.

A wet garage carpet means only one thing, there’s a leak somewhere.

The leading cause is probably the (inside) downstairs air conditioning unit.

Sure enough.

Quickly text our AC guy.

The fact that we have a great relationship with our AC guy is proof that i have planned for the unexpected.

Bill will be here in an hour to fix the disconnected drain pipe, which is currently leaking into the garage wall.

An overlooked anxiety source is unresolved thoughts.

As the Twitter screen shot so clearly articulates, unresolved thoughts fill an internal landfill.

A landfill that starts so small no one notices to a landfill that everyone but the landfill owner notices.

Son, work diligently to keep these “weeds” out of your personal organization desk drawers, shelves, and closets.

Having just returned from Glacier National Park, the notion that we are all connected is especially real for me.

Many Glacier Hotel from across Swiftcurrent Lake.

No mail for a month.

Every day an email arrives listing the incoming mail.

Almost everything that’s important arrives via email or text, from over-focusing on changing every account notification delivery method to paperless.

The only important paper mail arriving is out of my control.

Son, experiment creatively with how to be entirely paperless and not geographically dependent in order to manage your life’s most important administrative responsibilities.
