Be organized to start the day tonight

Sunset from Granite Park Chalet, Summer 2018.

Be organized to start the day tonight.

The photo above is from sunset. Time to start planning for tomorrow morning. Shouldn’t take long once you have great habits and rituals.

As soon as you make decent progress

Disney Institute speakers
Twitter screenshot yesterday. i told most audiences, “At Disney, it’s chaos 24/7. The real Magic is that you’ll never believe me.”

As soon as you make decent progress to get caught up with the paperwork of life, a storm hits.

And then being decently disorganized becomes the daily challenge.

Busy as a beaver fixing their dam.

That’s us.

Metaphorically.

Figure it out.

Too busy, right?

Leave room

GNP
Organized my personal and home life so i could do this bicycle ride to Logan Pass at the Continental Divide before Going-To-The-Sun Road opened for the 2018 season.

Leave room.

Breathing room.

Also known as margin.

Empty space.

On your calendar.

Make fewer promises.

 Play more.

Aim for boredom once in awhile.

Small uncorrected things turn into big things

Food for Families
Our 19th consecutive year delivering “Food For Families”. Yesterday morning at Ocoee High School.
Food For Families
Big camera on the left. Didn’t notice while we where there at 9am yesterday.
Snowman and Sand Hill crane
From our driveway as we returned from delivering boxes of food to needy families yesterday.

Small uncorrected things turn into big things.

This makes life challenging because there’s so much coming at us over the course of a week.

Take what comes at us in only one week and start exponentially doing the math in multiples of 52.

In a decade we have 520 entire weeks of not doing something we should be doing.

In a decade we have 520 full weeks of doing something that compounds nicely because it’s a daily habit.

Remember how you didn’t vote?

vote by mail ballot
Vote by mail ballot, completed and signed yesterday, October 27, 2018.

vote by mail ballot
Will drop this in the Post Office mailbox on the way to Church this morning. Election is in nine days.

Remember how you didn’t vote?

It couldn’t have been any easier.

Yet you didn’t vote.

Rationalizing that there are enough smart, energetic people to cover for your apathetic effort.

You probably don’t get an annual physical either.

Yet on Facebook, you pick up your microphone and spew righteous rhetoric about how things need to change.

i forgive you because we all need and deserve forgiveness. The first and biggest victory is changing into a healthier person – mind, body, spirit, work, home.

Our change shows others what’s possible.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
