I’m Sorry

Yeah, Go Daddy!
Yeah, Go Daddy!

To all the people that are finally starting to chatter about social media in the workplace, I’m sorry for being so far ahead of you.

And then there are the ones who make me look like an amateur. I tip my hat to you.

Either way, there’s always a group that wins and a group that looses, and of course a group that’s clueless there was a competition.

Mid Life Celebration

This One Is Just Nutty

Sunday’s, throughout history in most modern Christian cultures, are reserved for the sabbath – a day of rest.

Western culture seems to find this counter productive.

Do you struggle with it? I sure do.

Am working diligently to change that.

Once I get to 3,000 blog posts, I’ll no longer write posts on Sundays.

Meanwhile, nearing that 3,000th post milestone, these “Sunday’s in August” You Tubes are a transition. This one is just nutty.

I Think You Know This Already

The Band Sounds Pretty Good After A Few Drinks
The Band Sounds Pretty Good After A Few Drinks

Before a band becomes an overnight success, they have to travel and self-promote.

It’s a long, hard road. But they pay their dues with the hope of being discovered.

Life on the road is grueling. The audience is Heavenly, but the traveling is hell.

Marriages sometime crumble. Some bands break up. Some become addicted to the easy access to drugs and other stimulants.

And some find a way to create a following, stay healthy and productive. And they become rock stars.

You have to want it bad enough and work harder than the others.

I think you know this already.

Coming Out

It’s official.

I’ve come out.

Got the conversation started.

What?

Retirement.

A few weeks ago there was a spontaneous and brief conversation about retirement.

Recently, there was an official declaration.

So this is what it must feel like to come out of the closet.

Liberating. Invigorating. Exciting. Joyful.

Thank You For The Heart Attack

Is A Heart Attack A Blessing?
Is A Heart Attack A Blessing?

We are on the ride of our lives.

This is the only chance we get.

As soon as you learn that your time is almost up, you start to change things around and live life with a rearranged set of priorities.

But what if you never get the wake up call?
