Forgive yourself when you drop the ball

As organized as i am, i dropped the ball yesterday afternoon.

A friend’s daughter (a 12-year-old entrepreneur) made 40 Mickey (and Minnie) Mouse paper sculptures.

i promised to put payment (and gratuity) in the mailbox.

While at the Movie, i received an email that they dropped off the items.

The envelope was on my desk.

Is 50 old? I think not. Not to my In-Laws (83 & 86). Maybe to our son (9), or one of my colleagues (28). But not me. No sir-yee.

Old? What does that mean, old?

And what does it mean to be brand new? Can something “old” become brand new?

I think so. I know so.

The question now, is, “Do you think so?”

The reason I write five blogs (every single day) is because I believe life offers us four big choices.

So, there’s a blog for each of life’s big choices, plus this one.

This blog serves as an Internet storefront, a warehouse, a gathering spot, headquarters, corporate, etc.

Yesterday, I was asked if I’m spread too thin. Heck yes. Most people who are employed are spread incredibly thin.

I’m thankful for the thinness. Hope it doesn’t last forever though. There are too many people who need jobs.

And when you are writing for your young son to discern life’s four big choices, the writing comes pretty easy.
