Present and mindful

sermon note taking piece
What if? Such a great question.

Present and mindful is a go-to habit for every second of every day.

Auto-pilot.

Being present is a great tool for shedding life’s negativity.

Repeatedly.

Son, you will encounter milestones when you question people you have always trusted. Your friends will present to you behavior you never saw coming. Take your surprise and simply trust.

Trust.

Trust the Universe, God, Karma, or whatever positive energy you believe in.

Do not cry out nor try to defend yourself, for wisdom teaches it will only enlarge the surprise.

Thank God for the present moment.

The blessing is unexpected truth-revelation.

Be remarkably grateful.

The long haul with Covid’s impact (the great resignation, mask/no mask, vax/no vax, etc, various locally shared issues, personal issues, and now WW3 looming with Russia…life, worry, fear, anxiety…humanity is being crushed by the never-ending weight of world order and decency disappearing.

Organized truth

child watering flower garden
Bought this $3 poster at K-Mart because it looked exactly how i envisioned the future at our home. We struggled for eight years to become parents and if we ever succeeded, this is what i envisioned.

Years later, this is our reality. Freaky how close the photos look. A clear, concise, compelling vision is the catalyst for dreams coming true. Noteworthy, this is our front yard. This little boy is home on a college break.

Truth is, your priorities must be prioritized. Period.

The truth about home

Running your home life as if Disney was running your home life means setting every bar to the highest level. Nothing is optional. Not if you want personal vibrancy.

The truth about home organization.

Prioritizing your priorities is you number one priority.

Living by your prioritized priorities is your second priority.

This is the truth about home organization.

You do not have to be neat and tidy.

But why would you not be?

The truth about neat and tidy versus disorganized?

If you don’t intuitively understand the difference, nothing i say will help you.

Knowing the truth is dangerous

HP Instant Ink program
HP knows when i need new ink cartridges. i never have to worry about it. Ever. They simply mail them just before i run out.

Homeowner meeting sign
Yesterday this sign went up at our neighborhood entrance. Had completed the form a week ago, but forgot to drop it off. So i took a photo (further down) of the form and emailed it last night. Email would have been a great choice from the start, no?

Pat Sajak
From a TV recording last night. Jungle Pat (Sajak) at the World Famous Jungle Cruise – they were filming here (WDW) the past week.

homeowner picnic form
We were asked to drop it off in the homeowner mailbox, rather than mail it…this saved everyone 50-cents.

ATT notice
Password required? Somehow the stored password wasn’t working and i had created a safari-generated password so i had no idea what it was when i was asked to login last night. i fixed it the old-fashioned way – i created my own..

Knowing the truth is dangerous because once you know the architecture for being organized, you have no good excuse for not being organized.

You have to change if the way you’re currently living is in stark contrast to what it takes to live an organized life.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
