I Am Helpful

A cowboy mic helps everyone.

I am helpful, cooperative and supportive. I believe it is better to give than to receive, even if it doesn’t seem so. We are here to serve and not be served. Chapin, your middle name captures this spirit.

Don’t Know Don’t Care

Promise?

Promise?

I’m assuming (crazy, huh?) you just finished reading this post.

While it may seem like I’m interesting, it really is about being interested.

And maybe, to you, it would seem interesting to be The Internet’s Only Five-a-Day Blogger.

But have you really thought about how organized you would need to be to write five daily, differently themed posts? And not for 100 days, but, like, for years?

Bottom line, I’m interested. Interested in honestly trying to help you help yourself – to create a ripple effect in a humble effort to help make the world a better place.

Do you know who you are? And are you a good one?

Guessing, you don’t know and don’t care.

Simple Is As Simple Does

Are You Paying Attention?

Are You Paying Attention?

Simple is elusive.

Focus is elusive.

Determination is elusive.

Humility is elusive.

Unless your life purpose is clear.

Reading yesterday’s post had me question my humility.  You read it and you saw “I did”.

The thing you should understand (in case you don’t) is that there are many people who can tell you what should be done and why, but they themselves can not – not nearly to the extent they preach.

It seemed to me, there was an opportunity for a common man (perhaps a Father) to step up and try it differently.

jeff noel Five A Day

We are never so poor we don’t have something to give.

We are never so rich we don’t have something to receive.

Ever thought about that?

For me, not too much, until our Priest shared it on Sunday. But I wrote it down, it was that powerful, in that moment.

Later, it hit me. It reminds me of who we are as human beings.

And then, humbly, it helped me process why writing five-a-day daily blogs is now an important part of my life.

Are you doing all you can?

Got resolve?

Yesterday’s post spoke of being old and being brand new. Huh?  Here’s what I meant.

After five decades, the revelation that in the big picture, what other humans think of me is really inconsequential. It’s probably the same for you too.  And if it’s not, what if it was? Seriously.

We’re all going to be dead in 100 years and no one will remember any of us. So why worry about it?  Just live a good and decent life and work hard to do the right thing – primarily, try to serve others more than yourself.

It’s probably obnoxious to some people that I write five blogs every single day.  Who gives a fu flip?

Are you poised  to transform yourself before you die?  While it doesn’t matter what others think, it certainly matters what you think.  Got resolve?
