This is a followup to last night’s post on Apple versus Microsoft.

I LOVE my Toshiba laptop and my Internet connection.  It works fast, is very reliable, and I am very good at it.

What intrigues me about Apple?

It’s understated simplicity.

It’s vision to compete, even though the market clearly shows it as the underdog.

Humans don’t like change.  Apple IS change.  The iPhone IS change.

Bob Dylan once said, “He who is not busy being born, is busy dying”.

Who is changing faster, better?   Microsoft or Apple?

May I challenge you to evaluate your attitude toward change and give yourself an honest grade?

Make today a GREAT day to consider change as a theme and act.  Because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Change yourself to change the world?

Change yourself to change the world?

I went to the Apple store yesterday.   It intrigues me that Apple has forged a path, different then the status quo.

This challenges me to learn about Apple or not learn about Apple.   I have choosen to learn.

It dawned on me that the secret to success is having the right attitude.  And that the right attitude can be significantly influenced when there is a compelling reason.

Being a role model to my family is very compelling to me.   The moral – never stop learning.  Find a way to keep pushing your understanding, without sacrificing your core, your root values.

Mac Daddy?

Heading to the Apple Store today.

Why?

To look at potentially getting an Apple computer.   A Mac.

Why?

Why not?

With an eight-year old who looks at technology the same way he looks at air and water – breathing and drinking – it’s just a no-brainer that I should embrace technology, understand technology, and use technology, like he will when he gets older.

Ya with me?   No time to fear.  Only time to learn and grow.   Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
