He said several times he works eight jobs

Disney Speakers
Everyone is watching how hard you work or don’t work.

He said several times last week he works eight jobs.

None of them are full-time.

The implication is that he’s juggling a lot.

Hard to keep a set schedule.

Harder still to set parameters for healthy habits like sleeping and eating well.

And then there’s me, his travel companion.

i’ve got one job, right?

Lucky.

Speaker.

And a high-priced speaker no less.

Super lucky.

Guessing he figures i don’t have much to worry about with prices so high.

Then it hit me.

i work a bunch of jobs too.

Hat tip to Steve for yesterday’s Halloween costume

Steve Jobs
Easy.

Hat tip to Steve Jobs for yesterday’s (Oct 29, 2016) Halloween costume.

It’s been years since i’ve worn a Halloween costume.

Yesterday broke the drought.

When we brainstormed it was this easy.

Walt Disney?

Too much work and probably not enough payoff.

Steve Jobs?

New Balance running shoes, faded jeans, black turtle-neck, and “Steve Jobs”-style glasses.

Easy.

Perfect.

Contrasting Steve Jobs and Walt Disney

Disney customer service keynote speaker
Stumbled upon this yesterday while running an errand.

Walt Disney said, “You don’t build it for yourself. You know what the people want and you build it for them.”

Conversely, Steve Jobs looked to provide what people didn’t yet know they wanted.
