A first in the past 30 years

A first in the past 30 years. On the Big Island of Hawaii, and Maui, for the past 12 days. Didn’t see a single sunrise or sunset.

How is that even remotely possible?

Was reminded of how insane the notion is – while finishing this fifth blog and the sun is about to rise over my neighbor’s house across the street.

There’s a price to pay for success. We all know this.

We often disregard it, or get used to it enough to where we ignore it altogether.

Not me.

Some of us count our blessings as well as our expenses.

The final leg of a three flight, 15-hour trip home was a red-eye from LAX.

Think of traveling 10 hours and then being asked to sleep behind the wheel of a small car.
