Being disorganized aids the dream-killer codependency

Disney Keynote Speaker
As a teacher, especially a Disney teacher, i see and over-focus on things others under-focus on or ignore.

You know what is crazy?

How much people settle when they refuse to follow their passion.

It’s an insidious and pervasive habit around the world.

Why?

We are desensitized to the far-too-low limits we’ve placed on ourselves.

And we are desensitized to our abandoned dreams and hopes.

Live like you mean it. Life is not a dress rehearsal.

It was roughly a three second mistake

calling AAA after accident
Accident happened at 5:43pm. First call, after Chris and i exchanged insurance information, lasted nearly nine minutes. Tow truck arrived after sunset.

We watched, in the correct order, the final three Star Wars episodes Thursday, Friday, and yesterday (Saturday).

When offered, he accepted the opportunity (with only an hour before showtime) to go see The Force Awakens (episode seven).

The transformation of Downtown Disney (which i knew like the back on my hand) to Disney Springs caught me off guard when the normal parking option was cut off.

In roughly three seconds of looking left to quickly assess the situation as we drove up the off ramp to the parking garage, it was too late to avoid a rear-end collision.

Taking solace in being a rare, speed-limit driver. The exit ramp was long and uphill, allowing for a gradual and natural deceleration.

Those two factors greatly reduced the severity of the impact.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

The insidious thing that our stuff does to us until its too late

Lots to organize, and it never stops coming

The insidious thing our stuff does to us until its too late.

Distracts us.

From our art.

From the thing we get the most joy doing, but rarely, if ever, get to do anymore.

I’m determined to keep shedding and refining the storage of things.

There can be no stopping. It comes in faster than I can keep up.
