If ever there was a pervasive vision for risk-taking, this would be the battle cry.

    If you’re not making mistakes you’re not doing anything.

    Yeah, but couldn’t people die if you make a mistake?
    Doesn’t risk taking jeopardize the status quo (consistency) – what the customer expects?

    In my business people can die when you do things right too.

    War Rule #1:
    Men die in war.

    War Rule #2:
    You can’t prevent stop rule #1.

    This is why those in power to deploy our forces need to think long and hard before they decide to commit forces…and when they do they need to “come strong or don’t come at all”.
