Would recalibrating our tipping point make us more effective?

Would recalibrating our tipping point make us more effective?

If the things that make us crazy were less, instead of more, would we take more and better action sooner?

You know, would it inspire us to become more organized.

Or would it simply exacerbate our need for personal organization?

What’s your email inbox methodology?

priorities

right now, neither one is worried about the in box

Yesterday while cleaning out older emails, this one about watermarking your photos had to go. Painfully, it sat in the inbox four months. Hopefully, in 100 days or so (today), I’ll be ready to act on it.

Breathing is easiest when there are fewer than five inbox emails. At 50 emails, stress rises. A lot. I’m down to 25 and will not stop until they are all read, filed, and or deleted.

Did I mention I’m on vacation today (and working, of course)? Yeah, being a small business owner can be stifling. I better get used to it – or get out.

Determination is the DNA of success – in anything – including a small email inbox.

This month I’m inviting the Mid Life Celebration community to follow all five daily blogs about work life balance. It couldn’t be easier to go from this HQ blog to the mental attitude blog , just click -> go to Next Blog

preaching

I’m not perfectly organized – and don’t preach that standard. But I preach being decently organized. All day, everyday. Only preach what you practice.

One wrong move could mean death… for real…

focus and discipline

When personally overwhelmed, do this one do-or-die thing…

  • do what has to be done, when it needs to be done, whether you feel like it or not

Focus and discipline is learned and honed by practicing focus, and, discipline.

Why is it so hard to throw things away or donate them?

hoarding

made entirely from old cars parts (someone could’t throw away)

Why is it so hard to throw things away or donate them? I ask myself this constantly. Possessions like books, trinkets, files, games, gifts, tools, equipment… some not touched, not used, for decades.

Here’s What Excites Me About May?

University of New Mexico, April 8, 2011, on a morning run…

What is it about life that excites, motivates, and pushes certain people to continuously become a better version of themselves?

Everything.

Maybe it’s as simple as faith, hope and love.
